Thank you so much! This was the problem. To add a step in case anyone else runs into the same thing... after we replaced the pressure switch, the dishwasher was giving the PrS code. After a quick Google search, the trick that worked was to turn off the power to the dishwasher for 1 minute, then turn it back on and open & close the door 3 times. That reset the code and the dishwasher is operating normally again.

This guy is the man. He just saved me a bunch of money. This worked perfectly and wasn't too hard. Make sure you get the little black box firmly back under the clips. The seal was leaking after I reassembled and it took a while to figure out what the issue was. Even when it clicks in, there's an extra push required to get the black box under the clips so it seals correctly. Now the dishwasher works again like a charm. Thank Munchy, you rule!!!

Looking so forward to trying this- just hoping I can easily get into the bottom part of the dishwasher but this is the 1st place that I am finding a real answer somewhere- of course not from a company but a helpful handy YouTuber!

This fixed the issue we were having, too. The plug of black goo I cleaned out was crazy! Thanks so much!

THANK YOU!! Our GE profile dishwasher was turning off after five minutes of making a weird water running sound. I found your video and gave it a try and success! Took fifteen minutes and it’s now several minutes into a normal wash cycle. You saved us several hundred by avoiding a service call.

Thank you! We tried a bunch of things and this was the problem. Found nothing in the GE manual for this error. Even though we had a differnet GE dishwasher it looked pretty much the same. Really appreciate you taking the time to share this!

Got to add my thanks also. Have a slightly different GE profile dishwasher with similar issue but no error code. Followed your video and sure enough the pressure valve housing was full of “gunk” and the tiny opening in the sensor itself was partially plugged. Carefully cleaned both, reassembled and now it’s working great! Thinking this should be a regular maintenance type item found in the owners manual. Thanks again, can’t imagine what this would have cost to have a repair technician come out.

Thank you! This fixed my problem. I don't have the same model, but it worked on my GE dishwasher. When I put it back, it was leaking bad. I took it off again, reassembled making sure to put the bracket fully over the black electrical box at the top. Hooked it back up, and there were no leaks. I blame store brand dishwasher pods for this. The outer casing was not fully dissolving.

Thank you! I was having the same issue, only saw the H20 error once so its easy to miss. But this worked like a charm, seems more likely to happen if you don't clean you filter often.

This worked for me! I have a GE PDT785SYN2FS but it looks exactly like this underneath. The valve wasn't really dirty, but I guess just taking it off and putting it back on again did the trick. Thanks so much!
