How To Fix FTD Failure To Drain Dishwasher Error With OUT Removing Dishwasher.

Показать описание
FTD Failure To Drain can be fixed without removing the dishwasher on a GE GDF630PGMBB and related dishwashers. I show how you can remove and clean the pressure sensor (most likely issue) and how to remove and test the drain pump assembly (2nd most likely issue). This assumes you've already tried cleaning all the old food particles from within your dishwasher...

And this is why YouTube is probably the best invention since the internet. Fixed in 15 minutes. Thank you Sir!

Yup, you nailed it! I knew it had to be something easy, but your video was what I needed to find it. That little pressure sensor wasn't too dirty, but I cleaned it and put it back and the dishwasher sprung into action! I'm counting all the money you just saved me - I owe you a beer or 12!

Just knocked this out in less than 10 minutes and now my wife thinks I’m one of those husbands who can fix things. My streak of very low level marital fraud continues! 😁

Thank you! Our GE dishwasher recently started displaying FTD and my wife started freaking out (rightfully so) since the machine is barely 2 years old. First we cleaned both filters with no success and then I searched and found your video. Gold! A removal and good cleaning of the pressure sensor did the trick and we're back in business. I'm subscribing!

Amazing! The GE website basically doesn't even try to help. I did not want to go into the weekend with a working dishwasher. You saved the day. Thank you!

It’s fixed! Took 10 minutes, hardest part was finding the breaker switch for the dishwasher 😂 Thank you!!

I'm not a DIY person AT ALL - my husband is but he just left for a week. Thank you so much - I was able to follow the video so easily. Like someone else said, finding the breaker was the hardest part. I'm so proud of myself that I could take care of this problem with your help!!!

Fantastic. 75 years old and I fixed my GE dishwasher in about 20 minutes. No need to call a "guy".

Wow, spot on. I went away for a few days and when I went to do the dishes, I got this code. When I took the sensor out, I knew it was the problem. What a bunch of gunk. Bingo-bango, wash, replace, fixed. Now, best way to clean that filter! I clean it regularly, but yuk.

Appreciate the video! I was able to fix it in about 20 mins. If you’re ever in Woodburn Oregon, hit me up. I owe you a couple beers for saving me money and letting my wife think I fixed it with my “know how”😂

Thanks so much for the detailed video. I was able to fix my dishwasher thanks to you. The pressure switch was clogged and without such clear video, I don’t think I would have been brave enough to tackle it on my own.

I first thought it was a clogged filter that wasn’t it and my dishwasher was making noise even with the door open. I found your site watched your instructions and this 70 year old lady fixed her dishwasher Thanks to you. I can’t thank you enough. ❤ so glad I found your site, you rock

Thanks for the clear, straightforward instructions. I avoided paying for a new sensor unnecessarily.

Took the pump off and a plastic peace fell out then I put it back together and it worked. Thanks for making this video. I don’t know how much you helped me save, but I’m glad it worked

Thank you !!! Thank you !!! Found the sensor without much trouble. Definitely dirty and clogged. Cleaned it, put it back in and washer runs like a charm. Only video I found which even mentioned the sensor, all others either mentioned the drain line or pump issues. Know where to look with any future issues.
