Dishwasher not starting as expected...even though it has power?!

Dishwasher PDW7880J10SS not functioning at the moment. Considering replacing the main circuit board to fix vs. shelling out $1200 for another, newer model. Thoughts?

You can also check the door switch, make sure its engaging all the way in

It’s probably the thermal fuse which needs replacement. This is common on KitchenAid, Whirlpool machines. There are YouTube videos to help DIY.

Press the start button while it’s still open then close and it should start the cycle

I myself am finding myself in the same situation and I have come to one conclusion p. As for myself I'm going to be checking and messing with the buttons or should I say touchpad. Otherwise known as user interface. But if I in fact find a solution before I decide disconnecting the electric oh, I will definitely leave a comment about it and what I did and how I did to fix the problem wish me luck

What do you expect. It's a Frigidaire. Mine made it two years and did the same thing. My last 3 Frigidaire Refrigerators lasted three years to the month. That's how they make them now. There will be NO more purchased.

Turn the power off to dishwasher, leave off for five minutes, then turn power back on .. Reset boot main board… But that’s a bad UI.. user interface.. or touchpad they call it both names

Mine was used about 10 times 1.5 yr old $300 for a tech to come out sooo I decided on the hand job

I have SAME dishwasher and SAME issue....PLEASE tell me what you finally found out!

The one I have said to push start for 3 seconds to reset
It did not work
I pushed all buttons until I pushed heat dry with the lock under it and start at the same time for 3 seconds
It worked

Open it push the button then close it it’ll start

Try flipping the breaker for 30 seconds that should reset it.
