Ge dishwasher buttons no response

Ge dishwasher won't start. No response. How to cut off child lock. 2019 model.

You, sir, are a genius. This problem has plagued me for five years that I’ve owned this dishwasher. More than once I’ve threatened to just get rid of it and get something that works. The problem is, that all modern dishwasher have weird problems. But this one is a real doozy. Thank you for figuring it out.

EXCELLENT! We had been struggling for 2 days to remove the LOCK. Owner manual says to hold both DRY BOOST and SANI / STEAM at the same time - didn't work. Correct method is to hold ONLY the SANI / STEAM. Worked perfect! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

I have a love hate relationship with my GE Profile dishwasher. Buttons are too sensitive. Loaded the dishwasher and accidentally touch the Control lock button..Been fighting with this for hours. YouTube several tutorials and nothing 😢. Bingo, stumbled on your YouTube tutorial, 1, 2, 3, Bingo. Thank you. Saved my Sunday evening because I wasn't about hand washing these dishes.

Excellent! This is the only video I have come across that actually solved my problem! GE couldn’t even tell me this! This dishwasher has a very poor design and poor quality

Many many THANKS!!!! My dang dishwasher beeped for 2 whole days!!! Had to go through several videos before I found You! I now emailed myself this link! I HATE this dishwasher!!! THANK YOU! I leaned up against the open door and locked it. GE seems to only have videos of old models. Nothing for this model number. So thanks for making this simple video. Why anyone would WANT to lock it in the first place is beyond me.

Both GE and Ford have been such horrible horrible I mean really terrible brands.... I don't know how they've stayed in business. Like really GE? To get the dishwasher to unlock, just press the steam button? Thank you so much for this video.👍👏💐💗
