I’ve been strengthening my squat with the dumbbells without even realizing it. It’s helped me with my back and front squat. And I definitely agree with stopping before the buttwink because otherwise you might hurt yourself.

Jillian, I actually broke my back squatting 280 and had surgery. I now only squat with 50 pounds, but I think I'm going to try front loading now thanks to your advice. I think it's safer for me. Thanks for the advice.

Could you do a similar video to this one for lunges? I don't have knee or back pain when I squat, but the moment I attempt to do a lunge, I end up with knee pain despite the fact that nothing else has ever caused me knee issues before, which leads me to think that I'm not doing something right!

My physical therapist told me my long term goal is to be able to do 30 squats with no pain but I've been terrified of screwing up my knees again with improper form. This video was super helpful!
