For me it's always sort of a gamble wether the yolk stays soft or goes solid by the time my whites are finished, turns out I use too much heat.
I'm not a big cook, just a dude living alone cooking for himself. So I mostly just use maximum heat when possible without burning to get stuff done faster but it seems that was the exact problem here. I'll try frying my eggs on medium heat from now.
