It's so refreshing to see/hear someone explain something in a calm and straight forward manner. You've been at it for so long with this kind of high quality content and you only get better and better!

This may sound odd, but watching Daniel's muscles move and flex is just pure art to me. no homo

Still my favourite pull up tutorial. I've recommended this video to dozens of my friends by now. Such a gem.

you have no idea how often I come back to this video I swear pull ups can randomly become hard to feel in your lats for no reason

This is probably why I don't feel pullups in my back. Thanks and when is the Q and A?

This is the best explanation one can get. Retracting your scapular will likely prevent you from injuring your shoulders and lats and therefore engaging your back and the lat muscles which is quite vital. Thank you for this valuable video. !

I have been following many teachers on YouTube to learn a foundation in calisthenics and i find you are the best teacher on this subject that I have found. I am almost 60 years old with a now compromised lower back and wrists from many years of tattooing many hours a day. I am also 6'2" tall and 145 lbs. As you can imagine I need to start slow and work slowly and steadily towards my goals to rebuild from the ground up. You are the only one that I really trust to follow. Where do I go from here for beginners instruction from you in my condition?

This is the only other pulling exercise I do besides deadlifts! My lats are tender as fuck from doing these 5x5 yesterday! I want to be able to go all the way up and stick my chest on that bar like it's connected with fucking super glue. Such insane back and bicep activation! I used to hear clicking noises in my shoulder when I would do pull-ups, and now that I'm doing them this way, it's just a smooth contraction all the way up. So convenient too because all I need is my bodyweight to get my arms and back jacked as hell.
