“Bicha” has several meanings. In Portugal, “bicha” and “fila” are both used as synonyms for queue. But, “bicha” can also be a slang for homosexuals

As a person from Portugal I never listened someone use bicha for line up, its the same meaning as in Brazil, a better example is "girl" which in Portugal we use it as rapariga and in Brazil means whore.

Actually portuguese from Brasil still uses words from centuries ago, the guy is wrong. For ex: chicara we dont use anymore, but they still use it in Brasil, nowadays we say chavena.

I’m from Portugal and we don’t criticize Brazilian Portuguese even though it has a lot of slang but they seem to like to insult our way of speaking. That’s too bad because we have taken in many of their immigrants in the last few years.

Well thats not exactly true!
Im from portugal, "bicha" can mean homosexual in portugal as well, "bicha" yes can also mean line but that's something that my grandparents would say.
For example "im waiting in line" in that case we use "Fila", Eu estou a espera na fila.
