Start here:
Contraindications to NSAIDs?
Acute or CKD; CHF; peptic ulcer dz; anticoagulation
If not → NSAIDs (indomethacin)

Contraindications to colchicine?
Severe renal or liver disease
Combined with another drug inhibiting cytochrome P450 system
If not → oral colchicine

If contraindications to both, consider oral, IV, IM, or intraarticular glucocorticoids

If two or more joints involved, consider oral, IV, or IM glucocorticoids
