I gave up on live performing in person. I pretty much just work on singing/songwriting @home. Last couple of opportunities to be a part of a worship team at church I turned down. Plus my wife has ADHD and so I feel my place to to be by her side helping her find songs in the hymnal or places in the Bible. We haven't attended in awhile, anyway. Believe me, i put myself out there. And I don't miss it. Wife hears me sing at home and gives me feedback. That's more than enough for me these days.

I had the same feeling when my teacher suggested Rejoice! And it's exhilarating to sing but a real mental and vocal workout for me.
