Talking of itx, I finally went with the Thermaltake Core V1 Snow Edition instead of printing one for now. I have another itx system that I dont like the case, so this one will get a printed case...when I'll have some time 😀

Informative vid. I had to use flash the BIOS on the A520i AC after mucking up an underclock attempt on the 5600G.

Any chance of going through how to manually underclock/undervolt on a motherboard that does not allow auto tuning through Ryzen Master? The BIOS on the A520i AC is not exactly the easiest to navigate compared to the BIOS's on X550 or X570 boards. Cheers

Mike, I have a problem with q-flash. I have that exact same mobo, the gigabyte A520i AC. I want to install a Ryzen 5 5600. So I followed these steps exactly to flash the bios to version F14. But what I plugged in the USB, turned on power supply and pressed the button, nothing happens. No light, nothing. What should I do?

I know in one of you videos you side you had to leave CPU out and ram. Not sure why? If you can specify clearly more options of what people have or already have already built. I did Mini-ITX build and did the QFLASH with the CPU and ram in and worked just fine. Also looked at the manual nowhere it says to take the CPU and ram out. Not sure if this is just the way you do it but please specify that so other people don't get confused. Thanks Love your videos

Excellent tutorial as always thanks Mike! Can I ask about the white USB port that is used for BIOS flashing, is it ok to use it as a normal USB port at all other times then? I mean, does it act just like any other USB port for connectivity purposes when not being used for BIOS flashing?

Better to use a smaller USB stick, say 2 - 8 GB, don't do a "quick format"...a fresh normal format is more reliable. Also you should have mentioned this process takes several minutes...so be patient. Use the PSU I/O switch to power-on after the USB is inserted, hold the "flash" button until the light comes on then release. After the UEFI/BIOS has completed, switch off the PSU then remove the USB stick.

thanks for the tutorial, thinking about the gigabyte a620i ax which is not compatible with the ryzen 8000 series, and the q-flas bios is a lifesaver

Using ryzen 5600 G

When I flash the bios the led eventually goes off, but the fans and power button led stay on. I’m not sure what the issue is, the only thing installed is a TPM module and CPU,

I followed the steps for the flash drive, the only thing I could think of is maybe it’s the flash drive not allowing the bios to flash? It’s an old 4gb PNY flash drive
