i did something similar to this, expect i attached hoses that retract and i can control the fog in a better direction and it worked great, it really gave my graveyard a better spooky feel and look.

If you get the grass wet with a sprinkler or hose the grass down beforehand it'll keep the fog low to the ground without that contraption. I tried it and it works good.

It worked! GENIUS! The most expensive thing was the hole-cutter drill bit, and it worked a TREAT! Thank you!

Fantastic simple design that makes tons of low-lying fog even with cheapo juice and machine. No b.s. and so easy! I elevated the tub and added a small hole in the corner and installed a tight fitting 1/2" vinyl tube as a drain line, ran it into the bathroom and no water on the floor.

It's not just a fog chiller but also a great watering device for your floor :D

Instead of using ice, use many large bottles with frozen water and put them in instead.

If you use normal ice it will melt very soon.

Great! Simple and way better than many of the other plans I’ve seen out there.

This looks like a great idea for a backyard party! If using it indoors I would recommend mounting the chiller on some milk crates set in a large storage box to create a catch pan, and adding some dryer vent hose to the chiller out-vents to bring the fog to the floor. Thanks for the excellent post!

Nice video. Short sweet and to the point. The effect that you demonstrated looks better than about 95% of the crap out there on YouTube.

Make sure to have a mop handy. I see a lot of people that do the DIY fog chiller don't touch on when the ice melts where does the water go.

For those asking about what to do with when it melts. You can create a hole for a drain plug and put a a container to capture the water.
