Incredible build for $200.

However, Anyone looking to replicate this build. I highly suggest just paying the extra $60-$70 and getting a am4 motherboard and a Ryzen CPU (1600af/2600 minimum). You would get better performance and can upgrade to a 5000 series Ryzen later down the line. Plus you will have front audio and usb ports that are usable on the case.

Hey budget builders, I'm posting this from a $500 PC that I learned how to build from this channel, a Ryzen 1600 and 1650 Super build. The most important thing that I learned is that if you are tempted to break your budget for anything, make it the GPU. You're going to have a hard time buying too much GPU.

Love that 480...the fan swapping was so fantastic for cleaning and maintaining them.

Just built a PC for my wife, and I'm telling you FB marketplace is a great place to go for parts. It has a 9400f, 32gb ddr4 3200mhz, GTX 1070 8gb, 400w EVGA Psu, 1tb nvme SSD, all for only 270$ said and done. It works amazing at 1080p for most games.

CPU bouncing above 90c. Looks like the ziptie solution is far from even ideal.

I would've stuck some long screws through the mount and put nuts on the underside to keep it tighter

I got a 10400, 16gb ram and rtx 2070 super build for about 300. Be patient and or just keep trading parts. You'll get there eventually

I been able to do a lot of $200-300 PCs using GTX 1060 6gb lately. Also recently I got a Vega 56 for $40 on eBay so I'll be doing a budget build with it soon.

The fact that a 200 dollar PC manages to run modern games at 1080p at 60 FPS is actually wild.

I wouldn’t put an exhaust infront of the cpu air cooler, one fan on the top behind should be just enough with the rear fan too.

my son wants to stream playing roblox, and mine craft, and probaly games like that, with a mic, this build should be fine!

34 fps in black myth is disappointing BUT I'd argue that lows of 29 means it's at the very least a SMOOTH experience, which can go a long way I think

Spend $50 and you can get:
AM4 Motherboard from Aliexpress $40
ARGB Fans $13
ARGB Controller from Ali $2
$20 Ryzen 5 1600

Customizeable and when you get another $200 you can upgrade the GPU and CPU without any other changes.

The E3-1270 v5 is usually cheaper than the 1240 and has higher boost clocks ;D
