I avoided dairy for months and recently added raw milk, raw cheese, and raw yogurt to my diet and my digestion has improved greatly.

i found a local farmer who gives me free raw milk if I come out to his farm and milk the goat myself. So, I milk my own raw milk once a week! Life changing <3

Technically yes! It is an animal product. I just have to limit it due to inflammation.

Yes, dairy IS carnivore, IMHO. Butter, cream & cheese. It's just not part of a "Lion Diet" elimination regimen.

Like you said, it doesn't matter if it is or isn't. It's what makes you feel best. That's all food. If you feel good, eat it. If it causes inflammation and you're feeling bad, skip it. That needs to be taught to everyone. Don't eat for pleasure. Eat for nutrition.

We have a name for those people. We call the zealots. They take a good thing way to far and get all sanctimonious about it. Dairy is carnivore, yes, even milk. Get it raw if you can.

All I know is when I eat beef or bacon with a glass of whole milk it just sits so well in my stomach. I have no problems at all. When I eat carbs though I almost immediately get acid indigestion.

I removed most dairy products for 2 reasons. Firstly, I realised that my diet is mostly primal, dairy isn't. Also, I had to listen to my body, im lactose f'n intolerant.

Heavy cream, cheese (goat’s and sheep’s in particular), butter and ghee and even sour cream are carb-free or extreme low carb carnivore dairy. They won’t cause insulin spike and they are rich in healthy fats. So why to avoid!?

Just found out that oikos triple zero yogurt has zero sugars and zero carbs. It contains milk but literally has nothing else in it. So is this considered okay and acceptable on carnivore?

Dairy is rich in electrolytes which is important on low carb

It's an animal product this shouldn't be debated.

I can’t imagine my life without cheese! 🥺 So I’m gonna vote, yes…it’s carnivore! I try to do the hard aged ones more, but I’m Italian, and I think I have mozzarella and burata in my veins. 😂 Love the shorts, Lillie. Great job! 😍

I say yes and relied on it for the first year of my carnivore lifestyle and I just quit last month because I noticed how inflamed it was making me. I will have it in the future but a long break from it feels amazing already

Simple truth is yes! Just because someone feels like it's not doesn't make it not. Feelings don't equal truth.

The only dairy I have had in 7 months is ghee and butter. I stopped the rest just to see what happened, then I realized I really didn't miss cheese or cream.
I think everyone just needs to figure out what works best for them.
Yes, I consider it carnivore, for sure.

IMO it doesn't matter, if it makes you feel good - drink it, if not...the obvious

Yes, dairy is carnivore. It is an animal product. I got into a confrontation with an ignoranus recently who argued that a recipe containing animal products was not carnivore because it is not an animal body part. I think he is confusing it with the Lion diet, which is not the same thing.

I guess the word "Carnivore" refers to predator species who eat meat. "Carne" means meat and "vore" means eater.

BUT, I'd say that most predators would eat dairy products if they could get at them. A lion on the savannah isn't likely to come across cheese or milk, but rest assured it would gobble it up if it did.

I love dairy! 😂
