You look almost too comfortable reclining there on your sofa, Liron. :) You must be really enjoying your studio. It looks so nice in there! I taught myself shadows with a flashlight and a swivel lamp shining on an object on the table. I also used to lie on the bed and study the walls and corners of the room to see how the sunlight affects them. ( I know, it sounds a bit weird but that's how I get it in my head.) I also "black and white" pictures to see better where the darks and lights are. Thank you for this video. I am sure it will help a lot of people who struggle with this. Have a great day! :D

Thank you very much for this video! I learned how to layer the crosshatching direction to deepen the shadow. I always struggle to get a variety of value with crosshatching, now I know why!

Great tutorial! Main thing for me was to watch the direction of the cross-hatching in relation to the object. While I was watching, your Large Interior painting was in the side column, and I'm wondering if you could do a tutorial on Color in Shadow? I find that very tricky! 🙂 Thanks!
