Wish I had a series like this when I started, would've saved a fortune! If I may share, there's one product in this hobby I will never be without, that's The Incomparable Poly Pad, first let me say I have no affiliation with the company. These pads are amazing, just like the name says there's nothing out there that compares, these things saved my butt more times than I want to admit, you'll be blown away by what they can pull out of your tank and fast! The pads change color according to what they absorb, plus they never release anything back into the water column! They're especially good at removing copper! They do such a good job you'll need to be sure you remove them before dosing things like Vibrant! Otherwise just leave them in your sump or filter until you need a new one, they don't remove calcium or alkalinity! They may be a little expensive but they're worth every penny! Anyway all the black Friday sales start soon, you'll likely find them on sale somewhere! I currently am a betta owner (my betta is in a 3.5 gal tank set up above an up-to-ten-gal tank stand and has lots of stuff like plants + substrate) and am looking into starting my own reef! I'm a marine bio major and I've been wanting one since I worked on taking care of my marine bio teacher's reef for two years in high school. Can't wait to wait the videos!
