This is immensely helpful as it retains the geolocation tags. As a bonus, you can have it dropped into your google drive as well and still retain the geotags which seems to be an issues with certain methods of image transfer where the geodata is removed.

Doesn’t work :( My Toshiba (non SSD) HDD is showing as read-only when connected. When I googled the problem experts say ‘External drives to be used with iPadOS need to be formatted with a single partition using either Apple APFS or HFS+ formats OR FAT, FAT 32 or ExFAT ( 64-bit ) formatting code protocols.’ Could you possibly help do a video showing how to solve this problem which would be of help to millions of ipad users around the world!
