I still prefer just to connect usb to camera and straight to pc, i think its actually faster cuz you spend less time removing sd and then pluging it in sd reader

I have the new Canon EOS 5D mark IV and it came with an importing cord and it works on a dime I'm very happy with it.

Plugged in is slower, but folder management is automated with the eos utility

Guys he did a bad comparison but the point remains - if you’re transferring say 256gb the speed difference might add up etc
