Glad to see that society is accepting women more in sports and athletics and for women to stay fit and healthy which includes strength training. Looking back as a man that is 54 years old and seeing my Grandmothers and mom's generations not practicing exercises including strength training because it was told to them that this isn't ladylike or just wasn't meant for them because it was said that women are too weak or too fragile for exercising, especially strength training was the wrong thing to do to these women of past generations. With them not training it brought many health issues to these women and they often struggled with health issues for a good 2 to 3 decades before their death. Plus if their man or husband developed any serious health problems in their senior citizen aged years their woman or wife wasn't physically able to take care of him since she never stayed physically active and developed significant muscle atrophy. Having this newer trend of more and more women doing physical activities including strength training will keep your mother, grandmothers, sisters around longer and with age they won't have the serious health issues or health issues to a smaller degree with age and they will be able to help us men much more easily if we have any issues like with a broken hip from a fall and able to help us recover at home and not having us recovering in an assisted living arrangement therefore saving you alot of money. If we get in a car accident and I am knocked out and she is still OK and if she is physically active and strong she would be able to pull me out of the car and therefore saving my life in this example. Stay strong and healthy women because it not only benefits yourselves but benefits everyone, especially your loved ones and immediate family members. Plus women are weak and fragile? Really? Seriously? If that was the case then the human race wouldn't exist. Carrying a baby in their bodies for 9 months, especially the last 2 months of pregnancy is very serious strength in my book.
