Training style differentiates from person to person, for some this exercise might be good, for others maybe not so much. Personally i've been implementing the cuban press into my exercise regimen and been benefiting from them.

Bro i saw your video and another one like it. I did 4 sets alternating between 30 and 20 reps per set with 15's and I was feeling the pump. Great exercise to incorporate in your workout! 💪👍

Where does this fear come from where so many people are scared to basically move their own body parts, holding light weight? Somewhere along the line people became convinced that moving their body parts is dangerous. So you’re saying that lifting your arms above your head is going to F up your shoulders?!

I tried it today and although I felt it was a good workout I hurt my shoulder lol (and yea I lift regularly). I would say drop weight even more or stick to lateral raises, overhead presses, etc instead

Nah… I’ll stick to side raises and shoulder presses. The amount of weight I can press is much higher than the weight I can shoulder raise

This maybe good as a warmup exercise before big compounds done with 10 lbs dumbbells

Specifying what weight range to use seems fundamentally eroneous seeing as anyone from 16 year old skinny beginners to huge muscular guys with elite strength could be watching this tutorial.

I do dumbell overhead press everyday, 3 sets everyday, then I'd shrug like 6 sets.

Useless exercise....the wieght is compromised by the modified lat raises making the overhead press barely useful. Suggest use as a warm up for the rotator cuff but not as an effective mass building exercise.
