How to become a driving instructor (without getting ripped off)

When I said that I had my new ADI badge so I was due a standards check, that's not because you have a test when you get a new badge. I just meant that because I still work as an instructor and chose not to leave the job then I will have a standards check. You have the choice to renew your badge every 4 years or just not bother and "resign".

Interesting, my current instructor has also been driving for 30 years but has only recently become an instructor!

there's nothing in the legislation to say you're limited to 1 pdi per badge (many people often think the limit is 2) You can have as many as you can adequately supervise.

Hi. On average, (although I know there's a lot of factors that will affect the number), how many miles does an instructor's car do per year? Just wondering what to state for a quote for a lease on a car once I pass my Part 3. Thank you.

I'd say the price per hour is area specific

Is there enough learners to make a decent living, I live in London?
I don’t mind working 25-30 hours a week.😎

I’ve passed my part 1 and 2 adi training however I didn’t want to sign up to the the expensive franchise as a pdi

Is there anything I can do with the qualification or will have to start over with another driving school

Great informative video
Thanks
