For a beginner's workout to be effective, it should incorporate high-volume training, increased intensity, and fun variations - and that is exactly what you will find within this series.

You will feel great after this workout and wonder why you didn’t start exercising sooner! Exercise is not just going to help your physical well-being but mental too.

There are longer rest periods to help you recover between exercises and the series is perfect for you if you have taken a long break away from fitness and want to slowly ease back in or if you getting into it for the first time.

Once these routines becomes easier, you will find many intermediate/advanced workouts on the rest of my channel to work up to.

The workout requires one Kettlebell. Use a weight of at least 3kg+ but push yourself as much as possible and use a weight to challenge yourself but still enable you to keep proper form and technique with the movements.

Each exercise I perform is listed below, each is performed twice for 30 seconds on and 30 seconds rest;

1. Figure of Eight
2. Side Bend
3. Forward and Reverse Lunge
4. Tricep Extension
5. Goblet Squat
6. Bicep Curl
7. Russian Twists

Thank you so much for all of your videos they have changed my life, this was the first video I started out with at 214lbs I've worked out to one or 2 of your videos per day 6 days a week for the last 219 days paired with a high protein low calorie diet I've lost nearly 60 lbs thanks you again!

I am 69 and a retired physical therapist. I was out of shape and started using your workout to gain muscle and balance. I had to modify several things to make it work for me, and maybe others as out of shape as I am may need to work up to the 15 pound kettleball that I am now able to use. I use 2 5 pound weights for the biceps and triceps exercises (one in each hand). I used a balance pole for the lunges without weights, as I tended to fall off balance with the weights at first. I also could not use any weights for the russian twists at first, but now am able to use a 5 pound weight. I love your positive energy and I appreciate the big clock counter in the edge of the video! I also ride my recumbent bike for 40 minutes 3 to 5 x a week, and pilates for seniors 2 to 3 x a week. I do your program 2-3 times a week. This has been my routine for the last 2 months. I can see change at every session.

53 years old, very unfit...but I've just got through my first kettlebell workout and I feel GREAT!!!! Gonna lie on the sofa for 10 mins and get my breath back 😆 I'm hoping to do this at least every other day to lose some weight and increase my muscles 💪 Thanks Nicola x

*By functional I mean you can comfortably swing or carry it **bestgym.equipment** around as one would expect of a kettlebell weight. By versatile I mean the protective coating does not prevent attaching magnetic micro-plates to increase the weight, so, for example, a 35 pound kettlebell can be increased by up to 5 pounds in weight or possibly a bit more by attaching magnetic micro-plates.*
