Which QuickBooks Online Should You Buy in 2021?

In this video I compare all the different versions of QuickBooks Online (and Self Employed) so we can find out what's right for you, and your small business. Intuit have recently added "Advanced" to a cloud accounting product line up that already included Self Employed, Simple Start, Essentials and Plus. This is very helpful! I appreciate you breaking it down. I see the QB simple start plan has added mileage tracking...I’m curious if it helps track and file 1099s? I use QB self employed and I’ve been happy with it, but bummed that it doesn’t scale. I need 1099 support and a way to tag my receipts to the transactions...QBSE just seems to data dump receipts in a report for the year as opposed to connecting them to invoices or allowing you to export them to a pdf...does QB Simple Start do that?

QuickBooks online has been nothing but a pain for me. I only upgraded to the Plus version to use the Project feature. Well, I can truly say the software is full of bugs and if you’re using this feature be sure to have a back up of your cost and transactions cause Quickbooks will malfunction and lose your data like it did me. Now I don’t know what the true cost of my projects were. And to make matters worse, it’s now tax time and all this info has been lost. Quickbooks refuse to acknowledge their bugs and only give you scripted bullshit support. BUYER BEWARE!
