I kept books years ago and have recently started keeping the books for a small business for a friend. Thank goodness it doesn’t change! We went with the middle one. When I FINALLY was able to log in, everything was there! Yay! All I have to do is put the money where it is supposed to be. Just got started today, and I’m playing catch up from January 1, 2022. I’m strangely looking forward to pulling my first quarter reports! (For me, that’s strange because I’m a starving artist and bookkeeping is my fall back.) I’m trying to get up to speed as fast as I can. Actually, QuickBooks is one of the better software programs I’ve used. Thank you for all the great information!!

Hi James, 1.5 years ago I decided to start recording my household financial transactions so I can keep track of my expenses and investments. Everything from everyday expenses, tracking receivables and payables to revenue from selling stocks, and depreciation of long-term assets, like a bicycle or computer equipment.
I think it would be a good idea if you could make a video or a cheat sheet about this kind of accounting as it would help households manage their money better and plan their future more clearly.
