Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against depression and anxiety. Saved my life.

I truly believe taking Curcumin daily for the last 4 years has played a huge part in helping put my crohns disease in remission. Along with that, the weight training and meal plan you do with me, has completely changed my over health and definitely assisted in a reduction in anxiety. Thank you Mel for playing a major part in all of this! 😀

The thing is..anxiety are not thoughts. Its a feeling. It precedes thoughts.

I took Asgwagandha every morning and night for a week. It did WONDERS for my anxeity and my abillity to handle stressful situations (like performing CPR in my job).

BUT, after a week of use I started feeling "hollow", empty, very unmotivated and depressed. It's like my emotions got numb and my whole body just felt like a hollow shell. It was actually quite frightening.

So nowadays I only use Ashwagandha occasionally during extra stressful situations. Maby once per week or less often.

I stopped drinking coffee and all drinks containing caffeine. And completely stopped eating candy and drinking sodas. I also cut out as much sugar as possible. If I need a energy boost I use vitamin C and iron supplements instead (not too much though).

I weaned off of anxiety meds 6 months ago. Basically Bupoprion and Buspar. I used Ashwagandha mainly with a few other natural supplements such as Magnesium Theronate, FS CBD softgels and some natural vitamins. My anxiety seemed to be under control for the most part but my body aches and pains were daily even though I was active daily riding my bike, walking, playing golf, yard work etc. The constant aches and pains remained which I did not have when taking the anxiety meds. Any suggestions?

Magnesium L-Threonate best form for the brain, it's able to cross the blood brain barrier.
Also just learned of Myo- Inositol, therapeutic amounts of this is amazing for intrusive thoughts, OCD, depression, anxiety, eating disorders etc. Any mental/brain disorder. It's definately worth trying, and it's not expensive. We couldn't believe after just a few days on this my daughter was getting relief from OCD and intrusive thoughts, after years of trying many, many other things. Thank you Jesus. Answer to our prayers.

Number 1: cut out all caffeine if you’re prone to anxiety.

Melatonin 5mg & L-Theanine at 200-400mg at night is great!!! Ashwagandha is terrific also, but only in tincture form does this fantastic relaxer at night work superbly. Thank you for the great videos!!!

L- Theanine 250 mg is very calming; it is an amino acid. It helps you relax and think more calmly and rationally. It does not make you drowsy or sleepy. Great stuff; it usually comes with Magnesium in capsule form.

Great information. I've tried all the different magnesiums, and for me the one that I really feel, and especially helps with sleep, is Magnesium L Threonate. I realize everybody is different, but for me personally that stuff is something else.

L theonine is also a powerful compound that helps to reduce anxiety. It's relaxing but not sedating. Great for sleep.

Ashwagandha seems to help and swimming and taking a cold shower helps me a lot too.
I have tried lemon balm, Valerian root and Raw garlic in small amounts seems to help too.
Diet, exercise, sleeping well it all plays so many rolls in are anxiety and gut health some people say taking a probiotic can help a lot too with the gut brain connection. So many things and factors when it comes to anxiety and things like this. Great video helpful BTW!

I am already taking Ashwaganda but in a tea form along with Tulsi and Gotu Kola. I have been taking a lot of magnesium the past several days. I also take GABA and Tryptophan before sleep. On top of that, for depression, I take Lithium Orotate (it's good for ADHD/depression and bipolar) 5-20 mg doses. I also take a lot of B3 Niacin. I guess I'll switch the Ashwaganda during bed time.

For me, Lithium carbonate has been the most effective for severe depression. I know that’s a prescribed drug, but the orotate version is OTC and should be helpful for people too. I’ve tried almost every ssri, snri, tricyclic, etc. and lithium is the one for me. I find that most of the supplements in the video are more sedating like melatonin and not so effective in racing thoughts or low mood. Just my experience. Thanks for the video.

Wonderful video thank you so much for your advice, my question for you is, why is it when I take magnesium citrate, my stomach hurts so bad that it keeps me awake? When I don’t take it, I’m able to sleep. Any advice on this matter?

Ashwhagndha tends to over stimulate me and it's used for energy, testosterone enhancement AND SOMEHOW also anxiety. It is confusing and makes me anxious more than it calms me 😈😎😇
