If you have a FRESH egg and freshly cooked rice, try this. It is Japanese soul meal.
1. Make a hollow on top of freshly cooked rice
2. put a raw egg in the hollow
3. Add some soy sauce
4. Stir the rice, but not too much
Too much stir spoils the taste
Now ready for eat

I tried this a few nights ago, and when I told my brother what it was he told me I was crazy. I asked him if he wanted to try it, and he said, "Yes." XD

Well...once we got past the idea of eating raw egg, it was actually pretty good! It reminded me a little bit of the runny yolk of a fried egg, which we would eat happily for breakfast any day of the week, so I would probably make this again.

in msia my mom recipe use to add a little oyster sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper ... a much delicate taste

Not for me. I mix mine really good. But I also put more soy sauce on mine along with a little sesame oil and chopped scallions.
