Ah i hate seeing that light die in my eyes. I know that feeling well. And i hate seeing it in others too 😢

So often neurosparkly folks will change everything about themselves just to fit in with everyone else, just to have friends, just to be accepted. They will change their hair, their clothes, the way they talk, the things they talk about, the way they sit, their smile, their laugh….

And if you think I’m joking or exaggerating i cannot express enough how much i am not! 🥺

Like every other living thing in this planet we just want to be accepted and loved. And if we can’t be accepted and loved for who we are, then pretending to be a completely different person will do.

And then you wonder why we feel like we never fit in, why we don’t really have any friends, why we feel like an outsider. Because even if you do accept us, it’s not the real us, it’s the acceptable version of us that you like, the polite us, the manicured us, the perfectly sculptured for your pleasure us 🥺

No wonder we all want to fun away to the forest and live with the animals.
