In my country Ryzen 5 5600 is going for 139, while the X version is at 199. I choose the 139. Happy to see it's pretty much the same. I invested that money to buy a better GPU.

the current pricing in my country means you couldn't go wrong at choosing both. It's about 10-20 USD difference if converted, and take note some sales made r5 5600x the same as the non x in pricing

r7-5800x gang here ;) i think AMD makes good products but always in late when It comes to budget friendly stuff. Too late if you consider this 5000 series chips to "complete" their line-up.

1-5 FPS isn't "difference" at all, definitely not a noticeable one..
I think 5600 X should have more performance (given the price difference)

Maxing out game settings make the the game more gpu heavy to see CPU difference u have to lower the graphics

Only difference here is the 5% more powerful (not noticeable here) 5600x is, but what we can't see is that 5600x can handle 5C more temperature, doing it maybe more suitable for overclocking (thing you can supply with a better cooling system)

90% of the time I'm only a gamer playing games at around 1440 - 4k resolution. That other 10% could be for video editing but I don't do heavy enough video editing for anything better than a ryzen 5 5600 to be needed. My ryzen 5 3600 was enough for me but I need the extra performance with a new cpu.
