Today we look over the 5600 from AMD in comparison to the 5600G and the 5600X to see what may suit you better and what may be the best price for performance ratio

Thank you to @AMD for sending the 5600 for comparison

you didn't mention that both the 5600x and 5600 support PCIe 4.0 while the 5600g only supports PCIe 3.0.

You made this decision much easier!! Thanks!

bought a 5600 at a sale for like 70% of the price of the x and with a little overclocking and undervoling action it can get identical performance. it was a good deal ig

In my country it's currently X 100%, 5600 81.4%, G 76.4%. I'm aiming at 5600 as it probably runs at lower voltage and lower temperature (I guess?). BTW, this is my first time watching your video. Very brief yet informative. Will definitely check out your other videos. Keep it up!

Clear and straight to the point thanks!

My 5600x hits 4.8ghz in game with great temps. Might’ve gotten the silicone lottery with it.

Do keep in mind the 5600G has half the amount of cache of a 5600/X and that can really limit performance a lot in CPU bound scenarios (up to 50%)

I still rock an overclocked 5600 and I run every game on max graphics at 1440p, probably the best it'll get for its price

Is the 5600x just a slightly higher clocked 5600 or is the hip made with higher quality standards? It seems like the 5600 could have a .2 multiplier increase and be a X

On Amazon right now it just a 5$ difference. Just got the 5600x

03:00 you said 5600g has "higher multicore performance" but your charts show that it has the lowest performance multicore-wise so I'm confused

The answer is kinda simple for me tho. I dont have a gpu and i want the pc three months before i can afford one so the 5600g is one way

I’m trying to figure it out myself. Recently my motherboard shat itself and so did my i5. So, going with Ryzen, but can’t decide between the 5600, 5600g, or the 5600x

5600g is best vale for money? 5600g @166 x version is 197. only 10% slower cpu but with a great igpu?

In what world does the X give a better gaming proformance?
Unless you wish to use a 7950 xtx, and run the games at 1080p at 250-1000+ fps i dont see any reason to spend more on the X version. (but i dont see many people running a 5600x with a 7950 xtx, and play in 1080p) You will get between 0-2 fps more, thats all, so if thats what you mean with a better gaming proformance, then sure!?!? -I just call it a wast of money better spend elsewhere.

Stock cooling or something else? What kind of overclocking or undervolting did you do? If one is willing to "play" does the 5600x start to make more sense?

Who advises me? I own a 5600g. Is it worth it to upgrade to a 5600x or 5600?

.. Probably should've went into more detail about why there's less cache on the 5600G and how it doesn't support PCIE 4.0. Also it would be nice to see benchmark and testing which would better explain why the X is priced higher and if it's worth the extra 40 dollars over the 5600. Which it usually isn't.
