My first job out of college after studying Communications was at CBS where I wrote online news copy and produced news videos that ended up online. But aside from doing voice overs as a freelancer, I never explored becoming a self-employed digital marketer or copywriter until recently. I feel like the 8 years I had at Entertainment Tonight really helps provide a base for the copywriting and video production/posting content on social media. Not sure where to look for clients for this type of work though, I do see companies hiring copywriters/digital marketers as salaried full-time jobs though.
