Well I worked for such bosses delivered results far expectations worked nights weekends for 5 years and guess what happened CEO commited fraud cheated all shareholders investors and banks crores of rupees. Instead of getting incentives bonus as per contract struggled to get our salaries. I moved on bought a house and made strong investments and have never looked back since then in life. Moral: Believe in yourself.

Your video is so inspiring, it made my mind very clear on the corporate world. They make us feel guilty for not completing tasks and they will blame us that we are incapable.

They make rascals as managers, so that these rascals don't say "No" and put pressure on team. They don't really care about employees, all they need is the work getting done with limited time and resources and at less cost on the company

That's an incredible analysis! You have dared to talk about an issue which no one else talks about in India. We need to share this video a lot more!

Great video Anand and I highly appreciate you coming out with the exact reality and nature of the tech industry, what all you have mentioned here I faced all these challenges in the past 2 decades of my IT career and there are very few good IT companies, or I would rather say very few good managers who excel in people management & because of all these I decided to the leave IT for good and I am glad I did that. The younger generation needs to get this clear in their head that there never was, and never will be a work-life balance in the Indian IT industry.

If you work in couple of places which have such culture in initial phase of career, you do think it is everywhere. Strangely even a listed mnc may have such culture.

People leave managers not the company..I think..all indicate toxic work culture...dumping ground...blame the lower designation people..losing contracts...impacts the organization and other pay related incentives.."Plan for the worst and prepare for the best"

I am working in a small company which has a small team and our founder takes all the team meetings and he is always against trying something new technically speaking adding third party libraries into the project (many stupid reasons) and that's why in two years I have nothing in demand to show. There is no stress but there is hardly anything cutting edge happened.

What to do, not everyone can do business, there's cut throat competition in government jobs also, not everyone can go abroad, there's no peace in life 😢

I remember working in a toxic culture plastic manufacturing company. I was in Quality team in night shift where top management is hardly present at that time.
On one machine we noticed that the lids of a particular thermos flask were not fitting properly in sample check . Imagine we buying a thermos flask and fill it with milk and find a leakage even with lid tight. It causes customer complaint.
Though we highlighted in writing to production team about this, they still continued manufacturing it since due to toxic work they had a fear of their bosses screwing them for less productivity.
Ultimately we rejected the 💯 % lot. Next day at the top management meeting there was a lot of heat since all the lot had to be destroyed and recycled causing a loss.
If only there was a work culture where production people felt comfortable in telling the situation to their seniors that along with productivity, quality also needed attention.

I would also like to add one point - If you have got one good manager and friendly work environment, then just don't change job for sake of few lakhs hike per annum. You just don't know how the work environment in the next company will be like. It can just ruin your entire day to day life
