A manager without coding knowledge is just a liability for the company. This is what Elon Musk said.

Getting into any job in any sector is difficult anywhere across the world. Dear freshers and students, please don't get into cheap tactics of Youtubers and Content creators who create 10 videos in a week against 9 to 5 jobs and promote freelancing and startups 😂. These are not everyone's cup of tea. Wherever you go, whatever you do, you will have to put the right efforts and with time only you will grow. That's the truth.

There are no shortcuts to success. The guy who is earning 3.5 lakh will earn more as he climbs up the ladder. No one will become manager in 1 or 2 years, though he can get a certificate claiming the title. Experience and knowledge matters to establish self in any field. Superstars have stayed for decades to reach where they are today. Patience and perseverance matter in life. Otherwise, everyone would have become Elon Musk. Life is not a 20-20 cricket match to get the instant result.

Yes things are difficult in IT you don’t get well paid in initial years if you are from a normal college. But after couple of years of experience and knowledge when you switch your pay check increases exponentially. Most of my friends did the same and are earning a decent amount right now. Don’t get demotivated from such videos he may have missed to highlight this point.

I am a BE(IT), 2004 passout. I am working in PSU. Believe me, If I had to start over again, I would not even study engineering. I would be into developing my own venture.

Every job is good if you stick to the initial aspirations. But the problem is the aspirations keep on changing.

I'm 2010-14 BTech from Tier 2 college. Worked at a mass recruiter from 2014-16 (the usual 3.2 lpa). Had a lot of fun outside of work - first time getting 20k in hand, first girlfriend, own vehicle, anda maggi at night, always surrounded by 4-5 friends, making money while bei g on bench etc. But 18 months down the line, it really kicked me to leave Hinjewadi asap, get a masters and get into finance/consulting which is more managerial. Came to France, did an MSc at a cheaper cost than IIMs and got a finance role an a trillion dollar evaluated company. Advice to 22-23 year olds - DO NOT stay for more than 2-3 years in IT. It's too slow and designed to keep you middle class forever.

Bro you are so correct!! I am drilling since the end of 2021 on GPT/AI Automation and now Azure. AI, creating the Cloud habitat that it survives in, and how to feed it the terabytes it needs to do its job are the only places left to survive in. Unless you want to run cable under the cubical desks for $20/hr. Eventually I want to go into AI/Cloud Consultant as a self employed 1099 worker with my own corporation. Maybe get some college grads to run gigs for my corp.

To kya core sector me pure engineering role me jana chahiye? IT sector me bhtt jda saturation ho gya hai..aur job v interesting nhi hota, aisa lagta h bass survive kar rhe hai

Half story. No easy money. World is changing very fast. Products life cycle has become short. Technologies are becoming very creative and reaching very fast. Thinking about 9 to 5 and enjoying weekends will be short enjoyment. Update your skills.. then only you will survive. This is true in business as well. No short cuts. Work in any field with dedication. No one can stop achieving top position and money. Grass is always greener on other side .

Bhaiya main bhi 23 batch ka computer science grad hun, off campus ek company mili usme Business Intelligence ka role mila 8 months training p, aur aaj hi unhone 2500 me se 1200 employees fire kar diye and still continued.. I am not among them yet but fresher engineers from tier 3 college is a joke today.
