There's going to be a point where they switch to interpolation (lag-free) to reach the effect of ''1000hz'' when your game is actually running at like 240 or 360fps. This would, hypothetically, finally give motion-resolution (or motion clarity) on the level of an oldschool CRT monitor. That. Would. Be. Awesome!

You prob had a bad Alienware unit, because 360hz and 390hz all use the same panel. Only difference is that without the Gsync scaler the motion blur reduction goes all the way to 390hz.
The additional 30hz is only an overclock.

nice video production man! this panel is such a great deal. it's also available under Acers sub brand, Aopen. (same monitor, different branding) I was able to get one for as low as $260. which is a great deal for sure.

Hey bro, I've had this monitor for a while and recently a friend bought another acer 144 hz model, we were configuring the colors and his monitor had the option to save the settings in: (some mode) but my monitor that is 390 hz doesn't have it, I can save the settings in some mode but the color settings don't save! can you help me?

You need to fix your camera setting and take AW2521H ufo pursuit again because the one you included in your videos is irrepresentable of real world result. Its overexposed.
Use lower ISO setting or reduce monitor brightness, make sure shutter speed is at S1/90 or 1/100 for 390Hz. Also any additional digital vibrance can screw it up.
The one you reviewed is Acer Nitro XV252Q F. The other same/similar model is Aopen (Acer) FireLegend 25XV2QF.
