Orange County, California. I don’t know what to think. He tried to do the slow fade on me after an 8 year relationship and when I innocently messed up that plan, he accused ME of cheating and called me horrific names and said I’m dead to him. I want a freaking apology. I didn’t even make eye contact with another man, complete nonsense that I cheated. And I am really struggling with the injustice of it all. He cost me a lot of money in the end (I have the better job). It’s all very painful. 😖

Dude, thank you for posting about this subject as much as you have: I’ve been seeking therapy for years and have gone through several psychologists just to be told that I’m probably just dealing with Major Depression, Generalized Anxiety and the day-to-day things— while I have not been diagnosed borderline, I struggle with 7 of the 9 symptoms pretty regularly and will be looking for therapists that specialize in dealing with people like me (whether I am borderline or not) and your posts/videos have given me such clarity on the subject and a much better insight into what I’m dealing with— So again, thank you for your* detailed and very matter-of-fact explanations of all the disorders you cover (from narcissism to Histrionic, Bipolar and Borderline) I’m looking forward to* more videos on other subjects like cluster C disorders and other commonly misunderstood mental illness.

Thank you, my friend, David you make a lot of sense with your videos. This video is no different. I finally made the choice to separate myself from my partner of 11 years. She is diagnosed with BPD, CPTSD, childhood trauma. I did my best to get her through it. Your videos made me aware I could not do this. She seems happier now she is gone. I laugh because she asks me questions about guys and i want her to persue them so she leaves me alone. I just need to pull the final plug and let her go. I really hope that's soon. thank you for what you do

I remember when I first met her, she was miserable and wasn't whole, I didn't know for several months that she had only just broken up with the last guy. I imagine it was the same with the next guy after me. The problem was that she utterly drained every bit of kindness, emotion, and goodness I had to give. I remember the horrific pain and emptiness I felt, yet I knew it wasn't me. Mostly, I felt pity for her. Such people crave true love but will not ever find it, as they can not fully commit themselves to another person. It is such a tragedy. They are like drowning people that drown their rescuers. It is sad that most of these people don't have the strength or inclination to escape their situation.

Thank you for what you do, bringing understanding and relief from the pain.

I don't know if she's happy, because she's not with us anymore.

As much as I hated her for what she did, if there's an afterlife, I sure do hope she's not suffering anymore and that she did found the happiness she searched for so much the brief moment she was on earth. (She was 21).

As for other that I've dated, I didn't stay with them long enough to care. I didn't even asked myself that question.

I just know that there's nothing I could have done or say to make them happy for a long time. It was pointless to try.

I would get so sick of doing and thinking the same things over and over again.. I hate myself sometimes and some of that is because of choices.. but not to the degree that I am not me.. weird! I want my life to be as comfortable as my bed!! 😂
