I am Catholic and love my Church with my whole being, but Orthodoxy shows such a beauty that I'm always amazed with. Love for all of my brothers and sisters Christians!

As a Protestant Christian, I respect Catholic and Orthodox Christians. We should just stop hating each other and discussing what is the right belief in Jesus.

Jesus is King! ✝️☦️

Orthodoxy does not believe in original sin but ancestral sin.
We are not born with original sin but inherit the ability of sin from Adam.

Nice video, although it should say Catholics, not Roman Catholics, we have 23 rites and the Roman is only one of them

I know you are Orthodox but the fact that you just said things plainly without criticising one side or the other makes it so that you cannot realise what side you are even on. This made me respect Orthodoxy a lot more since a lot of Orthodox Christians often mock and make fun of us when the topic comes up.

Filioque is actually a translation problem not a theological one. Let me explain.

The reason why the filioque is absent in the greek (both greek catholic and orthodox) creed is because the verb meaning "proceeds" is different. The greek verb, ἐκπορευόμενον, means "makes to go out from" and implies divine origin. and as such, adding "and the son" *would* be heretical. The latin creed uses the verb "procedit" which literally means "proceeds". It does not directly imply that the Holy Spirit's divine origin is the father and the son, but rather says that he simply comes forth from the son and is not sent by him.

The Catholic and Orthodox churches even agree on the theology. The Holy Spirit's divine orgin (ἐκπορευόμενον) is the Father, but he "proceeds" (procedit) from the Father and the Son. As he does come forth from the son, but he is only sent forth from the father *through* the son.
