I’ve been raised atheist my entire life, but I’ve always known that there is some type of divine being out there. I experimented with many religions, and only recently have I discovered Orthodoxy. Immediately, I felt some kind of pull towards it. The more I learn about it, the more I want to convert. But I know these types of things cannot be rushed, so I am going to take it slow. Hopefully I can order the OSB and a prayer book next week - maybe with a prayer rope if I’m lucky! Glory to God!

Life long Roman Catholic. My mom passed away October 25th. Literally 2 days later something led me to read an article on Eastern Orthodox. I knew a little about the history. But then that led to watching YouTube videos and reading more. I don't know why?? But since the 27th I can't stop. I'm learning and feeling. I'm thinking strongly of converting. Recently became a catechumen, my advice for people interested in it is to go to liturgy, it may come off as weird at first because you may have a western idea of church (I did), but continue to go, ask questions, and you’ll find that a lot of it makes sense.

I am from Serbia and there people go to church after church, hardly anyone is a believer. All people go to church to be seen. But I am asking dear God to give us more believers of Christianity to lead us a lot.
