Just realized this is three yrs old lmao ... Liked your Wuthering Heights comments. I just read it for the first time two weeks ago, loved it, watched two adaptations, just bought a Norton Critical Edition last night (made a vid) and love Love LOVE it and Charolette Brontë, to boot!

Some of those classic editions are simply gorgeous, specially the drop cap and the word cloud. The designer in me is in love. I didn't even know they were out there.

Thank you so much for tagging me :) Finally a classic tag!!!! The Colin Firth adaptation of Pride and Prejudice is my favourite as well and I love Sense and Sensibility! The Woman in White is on my TBR and I may just have to bump it up now because it sounds amazing. Can't wait to do this tag!

Yes, I totally agree with your TV show picks. Excellent choices. (I still haven't watched the final season of Merlin, though, because I can't bear to watch the end.)
The Bakshi LOTR movies are so bad but they are so campy and stupid that I just love them.
I love the Drop Caps. I am determined to own every one of them. They are so pretty. I have also been really impressed by the Word Cloud editions. They are just gorgeous!
Also, I agree with you on Great Expectations. It's the best of his works, I feel.
Thank you so much for tagging me! This is perfect for me, this year especially. I am excited!

I'm SO glad you chose to do this tag video because I'm a huge lover of classics and I don't think they get enough attention on booktube. My favourite classics author is Thomas Hardy - his books always leave me emotionally drained lol They're definitely not happy books, that's for sure, but they always get me thinking. I think you're really going to love Wuthering Heights! Out of all the Bronte novels I've read, that one's my favourite (with Jane Eyre coming in at a close second).

I adore classics and am absolutely going to do this!!! Also, I've really been in the mood to reread some Nesbit books and get to some ones by her that I've never read. I actually just got some of her books on audible last night because I want to get to them asap.

I really want to read The Woman in White! I love mysteries and classics, so it sounds perfect. I also want to read the Three Musketeers and I love your edition. I recommend Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Brontë. It's definitely under hyped and so good!

Great video! I love so many of these (including the tv shows. MERLIN <3!) I really like medieval literature as well. When I was studying for my MA, I met Patience Agabati, who is a poet working on a modern rendition of the Canterbury Tales. I heard her preform some of it and it was fantastic.

I love Jane Austen to! And the Great Gatsby is amazing, however, I have never been a huge fan of Wuthering Heights! Also I love the movie of 5 children in it, and I really want to read the book. Great video! :)

My best friend made me read The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas and it was one of the best books I've ever read, and she otld me how hilarious the Three Musketeer's series was, so I am willing to pick them up soon.
Also I read Frankenstein back in highschool and I really really enjoyed it. It was so moving and well written and it gave some scientific hints really cool for the time it was written. I really truly recommend it to you and I'll be looking for your opinio on it.
Great video, as always ^^

I'm trying to read more classics this year. I also love the Penguin English Library paperbacks. (Although I haven't smelled them. LOL). One of my favorite classics is The Picture of Dorian Gray although I don't own a copy of it.
