Its an overall technique to bump the PRs but eventually youll reach a point where raw strength will need to improve to progress past the wall

I didn’t try my max bench with this but I got 365 up like it was 225 when I used this and braced my back and lats. I was on my 6-7th set and kind of burned out so I was surprised. I knew I could get it if I pushed, but it felt so light lol

Does this translate to heavier weights only, or does it also help in increasing strength/hypertrophy in the chest muscle?

Been trying for several years and my butt lifts off the bench every single time.

When doing leg drive, does our heels have to be planted as well, or is it only our toes that need to be planted?

Thought you need to drive with your heel. He seems to drive with the front of his foot

I still don't understand if leg drive should be constant or timed.

Bro everyone says optimal bench should be elbows not flared out and should be in 40-70⁰ and also movement of elbow should be stacked and bar path should be J and all that. But Jen Thompson never does any of that. I mean what is right?

I’ve people would constantly have the leg drive active when picking up the bar, lowering the bar and pushing back up. What do you guys think is that good or should it be timed?
