Factuals. Far too much I hear folks benching for a week, stopping for 2, and going back expecting it to be a good and safe bench session. Practice your (good) form weekly or several times a week if possible

I have a problem, when I retract my shoulder blades and go to lift the bar, my shoulders fall down and my back goes flat again, so if I can’t keep my shoulder blades retracted, I must have to lower the weight?

My problem is the length of my arms i have a 82 reach. When my elbow hit 90degrees my delts engage and its all shoulders on the way back up until i pass 90 again.

Arching my bach makes me weak and not confortable doing much reps, I've been practicing the 'technique' for 2 months and I basically got no gains, went from 65kg for 5 to 70 for 4 in 1 month and got stuck for 1 month, last week, I did bench, same thing 70 for 4, I said fuck it and put on 75 after my 3 working sets, I benched it like dumbbells, flat and shoulder blades moving did 2 reps, 4 minutes later I attempted 80kg in a very un-powerlifting technique, did it for one but I struggled 10cm off my chest, still did it, and I don't even know how to use leg drive or bounce. Just the week before I tried 75 with 'good technique' and I couldn't lift it off my chest.
Maybe I'm build different, but I'm sure I'll never try to arch again

You bench long enough you will have shoulder issues no matter.
