I remember the day Janis died, Jimi Hendrix, who was my hero, died just the month before, then we heard this news while we were in art class and everybody was in shock and mourning. Hey! What a nice surprise this was 🙌 I hope you have heard more of Janis since this video was posted two years ago ❤ She sure gave it all in every song, she sang her heart out every time.. And YES, this is music! I love to see how the music I was given from my parents still lives on another generation today, amazing! As a teen during the 90's I lived through the awesome grunge era of course, but that same time we also deep dived in the music "the older" generation listened to.. It was even better.. Janis and the 60's soul -forever in my heart ❤

I saw Janis in Baltimore in 1968. She is an amazing performer. She is funny, she laughs a lot and she always had a bottle of Southern Comfort on stage with her.
