I’m a 77-year-old guy who saw Janis live at the Fillmore in San Francisco in 1967. She is iconic. She will always have a “piece of my heart.” Love you guys!!

Janis would be so stoked to know that 52 years after her death (that’s insane!) that she still blows people away with her voice and that she’s still so loved. Thank you guys for keeping Janis’s memory alive 💕

The cracks, flaws, whatever you want to call them, is what made Janis's voice so uniquely perfect for the Blues. NO ONE has ever come even close to Janis, and there will never ever be another like her.

Oh Amber, there is no need to apologize for your tears. You both are reacting and this is your pure, honest, heart-felt feelings. Janis was an unbelievable talent and so loved for so long and will be for a lot longer as long as we have people like you two. Thank you both for your work on this channel. It is a pleasure to watch.

A great tune to celebrate Janis' lighter side is "Mercedes Benz." Trust me, you WILL be smilin! 😃

Such a tortured childhood being unsure of her looks, but my God she had something that HAD to get out. One of a kind.

No one ever sang the rock and roll blues like her, and no one ever will. Janis left a piece of her soul on EVERY stage she performed on. She was a TREMENDOUS talent. All she wanted was love and acceptance, and sadly she tried to find it in a needle, and at the bottom of a bottle.

She was bullied extremely in high school and college. She showed them up. She was a pure heart. She loved her fans. When On a talk show with Raquel Welch complained about a fan. Janis said. I love my people. They just want to be loved. Everyone wants to be loved. She had tears welling up. My mom adored her Before my time but I see why she was loved. We lost her to heroin at 27. Very sad.

It's the growl. It's the defiance mixed with need. It's the wild challenge flavored with heartbreak in her voice. RIP Janis.

One of the most fun things in watching you is knowing what’s coming and seeing your excitement when it arrives.

Guys I’m with you! Those breaks aren’t mistakes. That’s someone literally giving you everything they’ve got. Janis sang liked she lived her too short life with passion and abandon and it was absolutely beautiful. ❤️

I cry all the time when I hear Janis too. She gives you so much of herself and her soul in each song, it's so personal. Who else does that? No one but the ultimate rock goddess, Janis Joplin.

Janis wore her soul like a blanket trying to protect her from pain, hurt, anger, & even love! This woman was one of a kind, & sadly missed by everyone who loved & understood her music ❤️ 💚 💙 She truly was a gift that was only with us for a short time, but what a glorious time it was!!! Thank you both, for such a thoughtful reaction ❤️ 💚 💙

I just love you guys! I'm a 68 years young woman and I get such a kick out of your reactions to the artist from my time, like Janis, The Bee Gees, Queen and Tom Jones. Keep them coming.

The connection that Amber feels with Janis and her music is so beautiful. Sometimes an artist just touches your soul, and it is a joy for the rest of us to see.

I still like her song “Mercedes Benz.” That was the song that showed me her sense of humor.
