This video shows you how to install a new torque strut engine mount on your 2006-2013 Chevrolet Impala. The torque strut engine mount braces the engine against twisting, shaking, and vibrating when under load, and when load changes suddenly. The rubber bushings on the torque strut mount will wear down over time, and need to be replaced, even if the strut itself is in good condition. You'll know it's time to replace the torque strut engine mount when you feel vibration or shaking, especially when accelerating.

This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2006 Chevrolet Impala
2007 Chevrolet Impala
2008 Chevrolet Impala
2009 Chevrolet Impala
2010 Chevrolet Impala
2011 Chevrolet Impala
2012 Chevrolet Impala
2013 Chevrolet Impala

Tools you will need:
• 15/16 Inch Socket

I replaced all mounts on my 2010 Impala, but it seems to kick/jerk when i shift from parking to reverse, at times it kicks pretty hard, anyone knows what it could be?
A transmission solenoid maybe?
