Today I'm going to talk about seven simple habits that make my life more efficient.
These habits are the ones I've been trying and I feel it really works in my life.
I think these can behabits that you can easily incorporate into your life, so please watch this until the end.

I put all of the unread books on my shelf in a separate box. Now when I wake up, I make tea, leave my phone inside with a 20 minute alarm set, and spend that time on the balcony, reading one of those books.

After that, I do a couple Duolingo lessons. Then, I start the rest of my day.

I wake up at 4 am and go to my studio and paint. I stay there for 4 hours, this enables me to get a lot done. Then I drink tea and go out iny garden and do an hour or so outside working in the fresh air
I meditate after 3 pm, my day winds down after that . I try to get everything done in the morning and early afternoon.Reading and journalling and meal prep takes up the rest of the afternoon.I go to bed early.

Here in the US, life can get very cluttered and materialistic, so I greatly appreciate your very uplifting and beautiful perspectives.

We have mandatory five prayers across the day, from before sunrise to after darkness.
1- I try to add a mid morning prayer (Dhuha) as a means of thanking God for all the blessings, which I could never count.
2- Also I do morning & evening Dhikr.
3- read from my current book for about 30-60 minutes
4- I try to postpone coffee to award myself and to take advantage of the natural morning cortisol rise.

I start my day with a quart of water 💦
Then read my Bible.
I practice Wim Hoff breathing each day.
I make one quilt block a day and make time for free reading.

I have been feeling overwhelmed lately as I have been going through major changes in my life right now and watching your videos has really helped me to find new things to do so I do and practice more minimalistic qualities in my life so I do not feel as overwhelmed. I am just starting this journey so I know I have room to grow, but that's exciting.

Hi Samurai Matcha. Your videos are amazing and inspirational. Here are a few habits which I feel have improved my life: wake up at 5am (like you), drink a pint of water first thing (rehydrate and start up my system), 30 minutes yoga and 30 minutes meditation before breakfast, 5 minutes of vocal warm ups (as a teacher I need a healthy throat and voice box), turn off all electronics, read 20 minutes or more daily, take to time to feel grateful for my life, turn the shower to coldest setting for the final 3 minutes, average 7000+ daily steps each week, enjoy and appreciate nature. Thanks from Scotland!

Love waking up early, I started getting up at 5am in the summers so I can walk my dog before it gets too hot ( live in Texas) and its become a crucial part of my routine.
My second favorite habit is drinking a gallon of water everyday.

1. Wake up at 5 a.m. That’s my cat’s bodyclock . It’s pitchblack here at 5 in the morning. Try in spring.
2. Drink macha. Something unavailable in my part . Can it be substituted for a good coffee?
3. Minimalism. I like. But I live with others, including a hoarding husband and a demanding cat. Also I have many crafty hobbies. Any tips?
4. Todo list. Yes, on my iPad. sometimes, but not rigid.
5. Secret diary. I had one when I was girlie, it had a tiny padlock and and even tinier key ….I loved writing poetry . oh, those long gone days… 😊
6. Typing speeds and practice, beware of RSI (repetitive strain injury) although it’s mostly mouse related…
7. Pomodoro, mmm don’t really need another guide in my life. But wishing you well!

When there is a task that get me anxious in front of me I write a sort of script of the task and the way I'll try to face it.

Your videos are always a lovely addition to my day! A few of my habits: 1) reciting mantra with mala beads first thing in the morning and right before I go to bed, 2) taking 5-10 minutes in the middle of the day to breathe, pray, and recenter, 3) nibbling on wild edible plants whenever I pass them, and 4) making at least one jar of herbal tea each day

Favorite youtuber ever! Thank you for another great video. After starting to drink matcha tea, after watching your videos, it has helped me to focus and taken care of my health too. I wake up at 4, try to be a minimalist and find it easier to write to do list too. You are always so inspiring! I will be getting rid of my bed too and try to become extreme minimalist because it helps me to find things and life is much easier with extreme minimalism. Thank you Aki!
