I currently work full-time in Japan as a "Salary Man" but I'm on my way to becoming a full-time creator and contribute to society through making content that I believe in and matter to me.

This is my dream and I know I won't be able to make this happen without the support from each and every one of you. So it would be great if you could support my life journey by joining "The Community".

Thank you so much for taking the time to watch this video!

A minimalist that is low functioning and doesn't have pour over coffee is a minimalist that I can relate too!

"I don't do anything"
Minimalism at its best

I don't know why is this on my recommendation but I clicked because I'm also a minimalist and interested in Japanese culture.

A nice young man. Freedom from possessions allows for other things in life. The time working for the money to buy, maintain, and care for objects becomes time to live doing other things. I've spoken to homeless people and some said they feel free from burden of possessions

The Japanese style of minimalist aesthetics is fascinating to me. It's clearly distinct from from post-WWII Western minimalism and Scandinavian minimalism - Japanese minimalism is unmistakably Japanese and has a long history, culture and philosophy. It gets a lot of things right that Western minimalism and simple living doesn't. I also greatly appreciate Japan's love of craftsmanship (takumi), imperfection (wabi-sabi), space (ma, tokoro, ba, and wa), and the Japanese arts of refinement: kodo (incense appreciation), ikebana (flower arranging), and chado (tea ceremony). There are some parallels in the West but they aren't as culturally entrenched.

I stumbled across this video midway through a bit of a mental "I am a terrible person, everyone else has their lives together and mine is a mess" spiral, and started watching it feeling bad and expecting the video to make me feel worse (as most of these videos are of incredibly unattainable or highly productive lifestyles!).

Instead, it started with the phrase "I don't do anything" and instant coffee.

I know you'll likely never see this comment, but thank you so much for making this video - it's so refreshing to see a more "normal" day in the life video. As soon as I'd watched the first 30 seconds, I started to feel better (your voice is so soothing!). You seem like such a lovely, genuine person - I'm now subscribed, and am looking forward to following and supporting your journey through Youtube!

I don't define minimalism as "not doing anything" but in taking joy in the small moments of experience in life like reading, gardening, art, walks in nature, etc.

You have helped me find more peace. I suffer from ptsd and many other issues from the service and being minimal feels so good to me that I am able to pick up and leave and no one would know i was ever here.

I remember John Lennon said that minimalism is the solution to a happy life and it's budget friendly.

"I don't do anything."

That's a thumbs up from me.

This is so (unexpectedly) real that I kinda love it for that side alone. This guy drinks instant coffee Totally can see myself in it. Then the idea of "many people become professionals and have a lot of knowledge in their field even when they don't like it simply because they show up everyday at work" really kicks me. It's a very rational and responsible way to look at the job that comes to our hands and treat it with respect whether it'd be of our taste or not. A very condense and useful 11-minutes video. Wishing you all the best with your Youtube journey ♡

I am slowly tranforming my life in a more minimalist setup (started during the pandemic, I donated a lot of my old clothes, sold some of my book collection, etc.), and it’s nice to see how people all over the world do it haha

This guy is so attractive! I really like the minimalist lifestyle, unfortunately, my family are hoarders! They make my place so cramp up.. it’s horrendous! I’m constantly packing after them but its never enough.
