Do you currently have pain along the inside of your elbow? Have you had it several times in the past? Why does it keep coming back?
Pain along the inside of the elbow is known as medial epicondylitis. Commonly referred as Golfer's Elbow.
Like many of you, I've had this pain and I don't golf. Haha. That's why, for those of us who like to workout, I refer to this as Pull Up Elbow.
Our finger and wrist flexor muscles located along the front of our forearms, have tendon attachments onto the medial epicondyle. This tendons can become inflamed when performing movements such as pull ups and rows.
In today's video, I discuss how to be proactive and avoid pull up elbow by strengthening and stretching the finger and wrist flexors. I also demonstrate myofascial release techniques to treat pull up elbow if you are currently dealing with it.
I hope you enjoy today's video and find the information helpful!
