For every 10, 000 iu of vitamin D, you should also take vitamin K2. Better still, take a D3 supplement that also contains the K2. The D3 is fat soluble (so take it with fat/food) and it helps us to process calcium more effectively. The K2 helps to distribute that calcium into bones and teeth. It also redistributes calcium from the arteries into bones and teeth. So everyone's a winner.

The soil doesn't give us magnesium it used to give us. Great point 👍

I take all three, plus a few more. Being retired, I asked whether a supplement made me feel better within a couple of weeks. If not, I dropped it. These three really made the keep list.

Dear Doctor, first, I’m a 54, soon to be, 55 year old man. I just wanted to express my deepest appreciation and gratitude to you, for all the information you so kindly bring to us folks here on YouTube! I don’t expect a return comment from you; as I cannot imagine the work load you have daily, which doesn’t give you the chance to write back your many delighted supporters, followers, and subscribers. I only wish for you to see my comment and for you to know you are really loved, as for the wisdom you bring us people with lesser knowledge. I hope you, and your family are staying well! God bless you, doctor. ❤

The only supplements I take are vitamin d3 and k2, magnesium glycinate, and krill oil. Otherwise, I just eat a lot of meat and dairy and some broccoli and berries here and there. And a lemon every day because I just like drinking lemon juice.

I would be very careful with telling people "it's almost impossible to take too much of magnesium". This country is obsessed with supplements and there's also a lot of people selling them. Somebody somewhere will overdo it and hurt themselves. I've seen it with my own eyes.

The problem it's not the soil but the ones who are poisening it everyday!

Take Vitamin D 2000 units per day. The Dr. was amazed I was in good range. She tested Mg, fine. The sardines naturally have Vitamin D and omega-3.
Keep being the most personable, and most phenomenal example !

So true. Doctors don't even discuss this. It's pretty sad

I take all 3. I remember before I used to take vitamin D3 I used to get sick every winter but once I started consistently taking it I rarely ever get a cold. Magnesium I take every day and an omega. I read that when you’re stress your magnesium becomes depleted so I make sure to take it every day.

Str8up. Omega-3, Magnesium(glycinate), Vit D and good B complex. Acetyl-L-Carnitine is also great. Its weird how docs will never ask you about your diet and and will never tell you to take proper supplementation. Most things that ail us can easily be fixed by taking the above mentioned vitamins.

back in 2016 I started to lose the use of my limbs, I wasn't able to hold a glass of water, feed myself, stand or walk. I would constnatly pass out from exhaustion, have severe brain fog and be in constant pain. It wasn't untill early 2020 when my doctor did a vitiamin and mineral test. It showed acute lack of D-vitamin. So I had to eat tons of D-vitamin and I was suddenly much better. Not fully cured, but I was able to use my limbs and I wasn't passing out for no reason. I still had most of those symptoms, just not nearly as bad as it was before.
If you have strange symptoms that can't be accounted for by something else, check your D-vitamin levels. D-vitamin is esential for all functions of your body. I just wish it didn't have to take 4 years for them to do a basic blood test. Remind your doctor to do that if they don't do it amongst the first batch of tests.

I was diagnosed with ME(cfs) later in 2020 and I'm in a wheelchair now. But I can lift a glass of water and feed myself and I'm not in constant pain thanks to me keeping up with D-vitamin and a lot of other stuff such as Omega 3. I take a multi vitamin and mineral supplement that has all the vitamins and minerals and herbs. It smells like cat pee though. So a fair warning to you all if you get an all natural, no addatives, supplement; some vitamins smell like sulphur or ammonia = cat pee. It doesn't taste like it though. But the smell can be very pungent and overpowering.

Critical info that some doctors are ignorant of. As I understand it, a medical student only needs one course on nutrition to graduate. If the doctor is not going for a degree that requires more nutrition courses, they have little motivation to study nutrition. Vit D3 (yes, a hormone) yields better results at blood levels at or above 70 ng/ml, up to 140 ng/ml (according to one doctor that wrote a brief book). The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture published a report (about 1937) that reported severely mineral deficient arable land (land that grow crops on). Unless the farmer uses animal's manure and some other fertilizer, the land doesn't have the minerals necessary for plants need to make vitamins. N, P, K, (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) are only three of about 80 minerals that plants use to make vitamins. It used to be that nearly every family would have a small plot of land that they grew the food for their own family. Most people used wood to heat and cook with, until the end of WWI. Then people would scatter the wood ashes on their family garden (wood ashes are the residue minerals minerals). Then people started using more electricity and gas and fuel oil to heat and cook with. WWII looming, more women working outside the home, families needed the convenience provided by oil, gas, and electricity (but few had any idea of what we lost in the trade. You must become more proactive about your health. Vit C daily spread over three (or 4 or 5) doses daily (maybe 3, 000 mg up to 12, 000 mg daily- learn your bowel tolerance level). There are several books and U-tube videos on health and nutrition that can help you understand. Plus, learn about prayer. Maintain a positive attitude. Refuse to be a victim. Become knowledgeable. God bless you all!

People need to be made aware of symptoms of too much magnesium. I had to quit taking my Mag-6 complex +GABA. It was causing severe muscle cramps, soreness, and low BP. Stopped taking it and the cramps went away and BP back to normal. Same with potassium. Too much potassium caused muscle twitching, spasms, and heart palpitations.
