How to ace your next AI job interview

We evaluated AI interviewing by having our engineers interview with the system. What we found was the top performers scored the lowest and the worst engineers scored the highest. It places far to much weight on eye contact and sociability for the score. Engineers don't make eye contact. It also scored low any creative out of the box solutions to problems in preference for cut and paste stock answers. The AI interview systems we tested also seemed to be heavily biased against women and minorities. When the vendor was questioned about this they became very evasive. All they would say is that it picks candidates that are similar to the training data set. This is a classic AI error. For example if you feed an AI data about cats and ALL the data is about house cats. Then when asked to find large powerful cats in a large general data set it will reject lions and tigers because they are "not a cat".

If I ever apply to a job and they expect me to interview with an AI, I'll pass and look elsewhere. If the company can't take the time to have a human spend 15-30 minutes to interview me, I'm going to assume that they won't have the time of day to properly train me or provide on the job support. If they're doing it to cut costs then I'll assume they'll be just as willing to deny raises and promotions to cut costs. An AI interview should be a massive red flag for anyone looking for employment.

-This is what you call a "one-way" Interview... The company only learns about you and you don't get to learn about the company.
-"They don't watch the videos. They have AI software watch the video for them and it gives each a score based on mannerism and content of their answer, which is then ranked and forwarded to HR." - Considerable
-As you can conclude the company is less likely to care about you as an employee if they cant even take the 15min - 30min out of there day to sit down and have an interview with you.
