Typically trying to remember stuff like the photosynthesis equation (the long difficult light vs dark with all the fancy arrows pointing to where each part goes) I like to…
take a piece of paper
Write everything I can remember
Take a colored marker and write everything I missed or got wrong
Take a good look at it
And repeat the process a little while later

Works every time!!
