The BEST video about exams that will motivate you 100%. The SECRET behind how I've never gotten a B on my report card even though I struggled in my classes 😱

P.S. For some reason, I kept showing LU-decomposition in the video, but the last question on my final was actually on the Gram–Schmidt Orthonormalization process. Idk if anyone cares but I like to document my memories too hehe :p

Writing notes for myself you guys can use too!
- Make friends in classes (for the sake of being friends with them, of course, don't use people =)) you can ask them things, get help, etc.
- Create groupchats to get help, rant, etc.
- Throughout the semester, reflect on bad habits to change
- Surround yourself with good people even if its not in your classes, outside of classes
(My own tip) - Split homework with friends to get it done faster, and if you need to know how they got the answers, just ask and confirm

For me to do
- Make more friends in my math class
- Create a groupchat
- Be organized, come to class on time, finish work beforehand, make a checklist of all the topics I should know how to do
- Go outside more often during breaks
- Split homework in parts for people to do with me

Amy, I cannot thank you enough. I was struggling in all my classes and when I saw your video a few days ago; it motivated me sooo much. I ended up getting 100 on all my midterms. This brought up a couple high B's to high A's. In particular I was struggling in my honors chem class, and I got 100 on it. Thank you so much, this truly changed my life.

I’m a middle aged guy who wants to go to uni to study math again… your video is very inspiring. It’s an incredibly mature view of the world, I’ll show this video to my son and daughter!

What I hate about myself is that I never try enough. I do the bare minimum, sometimes less than bare minimum, but things always work out accordingly. When I got a really low score on entrance exam turns out whole country did that way (exam got a lot harder, if I got that score last year I wouldn't be anywhere now but that grade for this year is life saver and I did better than 90% of the people I know, and in country I was on the upper side, when people heard my score they were all wow), I know that I could have done better, I know that I didn't try anything near the others, not only in this exam but all of them. It's like luck is always on my side and I finish all levels without trying while I see people struggling. Sometimes people say I'm smart but I know that I'm not. I'm just lucky and things always work out for me. I'm too ashamed to share this part of myself. And I hate to see people who tried more than me in bad places. I'm always cocky, I know that I'm gonna pass the exam no matter what and it's just a big ick. Idk how I even finished school with this laziness, I'm afraid of the things that will happen in uni exams. I'm now studying for my uni exams and I hope as a first year uni student I do better than I did before
EDIT: I was lazier than ever while preparing for the exams but it all worked out, I got pretty good marks / grades

Hi Amy! I'm about to take literally the biggest exam I'll ever have to take in my entire life - SPM. I'm from Malaysia, SPM is kinda like the equivalent to the US's SAT or ACT. just finished our trial exams, and my grades are not looking as cute as they could be... but after watching a couple of your videos, I've decided that I'm not gonna let a couple of B's and C's bring me down. I'm gonna stop moping around, reflect, admit to myself that I'm actually pretty weak on those subjects, and learn from my past mistakes so that I can improve.

Amy, the situation you talked about is almost identical to mine. I'm currently a highschool senior, also planning to major in engineering and I'm in an online AP statistics class while taking calculus in school. Similar to your mom buying the wrong book, I was enrolled in my online class a few weeks late, now I'm here trying to catch up on 3 weeks of work while having a C as my current grade due to missing homework and assignments. To say I'm a little stressed is an understatement.

You cheered me up a lot. I always tend to mope around when problem occurs. Weird but you just said out loud what exactly my problem is. I always felt like i was doing that and tell myself i have to be strong but just couldn’t comprehend it vividly like this.

the only time i got shookt in this story is that she's telling this sad pivotal moment that she had a bad score in math and took an "L" only for her grade to be "B". I THOUGHT SHE GOT A "D" OR ATLEAST A "D" !!! damn. this ain't it LMAO

Bro, you looked so beautiful throughout the video <3.
the way I see matrices everywhere scares me because I'm stuck the same way on matrices and linear algebra.
Lying to yourself will only drag you into a pit of failure...
Having a mindset is really necessary, I agree.!
Thank you so much, Amy! the video was super helpful!
Thank you for your efforts.

I really have to thank you Amy for sharing this inspiring story, I have actually got a similar one. As an Egyptian (with parents who have Asian traits too) I struggled a lot while studying in the 9th grade. However, I made my way to a STEM high school, which then introduced me to many hard concepts that only students taking a master's degree heard about ! Your story was so inspiring I almost felt like I was talking and not you ! Thank you for really motivating me during such a hard time.

I stumbled upon your account today, and I've been thoroughly enjoying it. Your content has been incredibly motivating, inspiring me to dedicate this entire month to studying and grasping the concepts I didn't fully comprehend during my time in school. I never imagined that studying could be this enjoyable, but your posts have completely changed my perspective. Thank you for being such a valuable source of inspiration! 💝💕
