Ahhh I have my first product design phone interview this week and this video came in perfect timing!! I love that you guys said that it’s ok to not know something and to admit it but also say that I’m eager and more than willing to learn! And I will def look at Apple and googles guidelines!! 🙇🏻‍♀️✨✨

Thank youuuu for this. The point on 'being arrogant' and learning less resonated a lot with me, I've been learning to be less arrogant & not limit myself from learning things from people, so I'm excited to see another reminder.

This was really an eye-opener. Big-ups to the entire team!

Another very useful video. Thank you. As someone who doesn't have a design or tech background I'd say my biggest struggle is getting that first interview. So I'm working on my portfolio and tailor my CV and letter to each place I apply to.

I have been a sole designer at my company for 2 years. I am a junior to mid level product designer. Lots of self doubting moments in the past...

Great video and solid advice! I'm currently dedicating a whole series about this on my channel. As a hiring manager in my current and previous roles, I have seen so many of these mistakes made over and over and over. I especially like the HUMBLE and HONEST point. If more people just said "I don't know the answer, but I can learn. I'm a long life long learner."

The point that you touched in your last advice is what exactly I am going through. I am in my final year of college ...and I don't know if anyone will hire me cause I am good at many things, but haven't mastered a single thing!

I have recently got to know about aj&smart and been following. The topics that are discussed are really helpful for a person like me who is very much obsessed with Design. I specially want to appreciate the guy who's designing these thumbnails. They are hilarious and eye grabbing at the same time 😂 I loved them.
